Dr. Uriyo is a data scientist and quality improvement lead at heart. She led the NCQA re-accreditation for Johns Hopkins HealthCare lines of business; achieving Commendable to Excellent accreditation status. She is also an expert in Learning Design & Delivery.
Dr. Uriyo oversees Special Projects including Medicalincs’ Maryland’s Rare and Expensive Case Management (REM) Program subcontract; and Learning Technical logistics for our Learning academy program. Dr. Uriyo is the cofounder and executive director of Abacus Robotics, a non-profit STEM organization.
She is also an Assistant professor at George Mason University’s Department of Health Administration & Policy. Previously, she worked with the US Federal Healthcare Informatics Group at HP. Maria enjoys baking!
